Greetings and salutations good gnome kin,
I have interest in your establishment being a gnome myself. I would ask that i may purchase this building with the intent to offer trade more freely with the city and a place to sell my wares. I would also like to speak with you about a possible buisness venture allowing your associates to continue running the inn and all current help stay. I offer the sum of 20,000 coins for the building and sorrounding area that is described on the deed. I hope that something can be arranged. I have full intent to keep the place a symbol of our great heritage and offering shelter to all those of our kin. Please leave a letter here when feasible and i will stop by to pick it up.
Sincerely,
Pepto Fizzwiggle

The proprietor begins to pen a hostile reply, but then she decides to let Pepto stop by in person, so he can write a more informed business proposal after seeing the current state of things.

Dear proprietor,
After realizing that it is no longer under ownership of my kin i would like to appologize for any misunderstandings. I would also like to offer the same amount to you for the inn. It is my intent to turn the lower portion of the inn to a import&export buisness. Considering it is in perfect location on the blacklake, it would no doubt make trade and shipment of goods easy and without burden.
I would consider giving you all royalties and sales of any brews and food dealing directly with the inn. I would also leave in contract that in case of my untimely death the inn would fall right back into your hands. All i would ask is that you leave a collegue and some guardians in the inn to collect any transactions and funds deserving to you, and to protect from any drunken sailors that may wander in.
Seeing that the inn is in need of dire repair, and that i am giving you all royalties and funds drawn from the inn back to you. It is as the humans say," a win win situation". I will also more than likely be hireing some duereger help from the nearby fort in my day to day duties. I f you still, after seeing this generous contract outline, desire not to sell the building perhaps a lease agreement can be made, or partnership be formed. I doubt you will ever get the same offer from anyone else nearby. As well this is a final offer and will not be made again. I will stop back within the week to hear news of your response.
