Candra,
I hope that this letter finds you in good health, or has found you at all. I say this because I have not heard anything whatsoever from you since I so graciously released you, which irks me quite a deal. While I do not doubt your gratitude, I do find it rather peculiar that you have altogether disappeared on me.
I would request that you contact me as soon as possible, and if you do not I shall be quite agitated at having to spend even more of myself and my time and energies on finding you to ensure you are safe. If your intentions have not been foul, or have been detained for some reason, I apologize for my bluntness and severity, but as I said, I fully intend to keep you from joining the street rabble that our fair city unfortunately spawns.
Remember to eat well. I wish to see you in better shape than when we last departed.

I am relieved to finally hear from you. Three thousand gold, as you have been learning from your employment, is no small sum. As I said before, I will personally ensure that you live up to that worthiness. I do not often make poor investments, and I am still very optimistic that your talents will be quite astounding once they reach true fruition.
As for the elven language, I am entirely incapable of reading or writing it. Regardless, you must practice your common tongue, as you will not likely find many people in this ciy can speak the languge. Few enough can even read common, for that matter. I urge you to make every effort to practice and learn the common tongue.
I have found a man that I am hopefully contracting to guard you, Candra. His name is Mister Dacus, a warrior-priest of Ibrandul. He is a large, powerful man and keen enough to keep you out of too much trouble. I will let you know when the contract is finished and he officially begins his bodyguard position.
Candra, do not harvest yourself a large sum of gold in order to repay me. Use it wisely to purchase potions, equipment you might need, and filling food. Keep in close contact with me and keep practicing your tracking, spellcasting, and common tongue.
Lastly, do make an effort to cross my path soon, as I'd like to speak with you about a great number of things.

[Seeing a prompt letter waiting for her at the Last Stand, Candra looks hopefully to find it written in a familiar tongue. Disappointed, she grumbles something in elven about being snatched from lands of the Tel'Quessir, only to be thrust and trapped in a foreign place where people speak such a guttural and unpleasant language.]
Taor,
Badness for you, you have not learn beauty is language Tel'Quessir. I have sympathy. I have maybe teach you, yes? I have hope I not stay in Underdark long to need learn more common. Many searches I have made of grounds. Find Dark Lake, Loblobliblop, Sslal-Teesh, Spire-place, evil city of Lloth-childs Mori'Quessir, windy canyons with strange beasts. I have not find path to surface, but will find.
I have no knowing why I have need for guard? Maybe I guard this Dacus. I will look for this man.
I want harvest this gold, so I have no purpose to stay in Sanctuary. I have thoughts, sooner I find this money, sooner I can leave for home.
I will trace the sands to find your footsteps, so you have ability to speak with me about things you have want for.
