The Manifesto of Sanctuarians for Peace and Justice
Citizens, join me in my campaign to create a better Sanctuary! I know many of you desire to see a return to the days of yore in which Sanctuary was ruled by good, just men. Do you remember the benevolent rule of Mayor Bresly? Does your heart pine for the modest, knowledgable decency of Adelia Tyrell? Even the silly passion of Victor Hastian looks ideal compared with the decadent, selfish Councilors whose rule we've suffered under.
The newly reformed Council is quite well designed, but I wish to see fair, good Councilors who care for the people and who have the skill and intellect to rule justly and fairly.
Those who wish to join me and see to it that Sanctuary is ruled by good, wise individuals, contact Martel Smithe at the Last Stand.

Pepto for Pandemonium
I, Martel Smithe, can only question whether 'Pepto' would be an ideal Councilor to rule us. His economic idas are far too risky to deserve your vote.
He desires more funding for the Watch and Spellguard, but at the same time argues that we must eliminate efforts to raise funds so that we can pay these very same people. Does candidate Pepto believe that the people he assumes will protect him will do that for free? If this is true, I can't help but wonder whether he will expect the people he rules to work for free as well. Imagine, if you dare, Councilor Pepto allocating the gold industries would use to pay the fine workers of Sanctuary for whatever mad plots he concocts!
These risky economic policies could spell doom for us in these already troubled times. If this mad candidate has he way and is able to filch your salaries for his schemes, Waukeen only knows what will happen to us!
When the election rolls around, I suggest giving someone else your vote.

[The notice is posted around Upper, just out of reach of the average dwarf]
The Wrong Thule for Every Job
I, Martel Smythe, political activist and and advocat for Councilors who will serve you best, have no choice but to speak out against the mad policies of Thule the Fool.
This angry, belligerent dwarf has already displayed tremendous arrogance so early in the race. He suggests that he's capable of leading us merely because a few other dwarves have been good at handing stone and tend to live underground. As if any of you good people would fall for this! Men and women of proper virtue know that it is not what someone's distant relative may have been able to do (and even this is unsubstantiated with any sort of proof), but what the candidate himself has done. Imagine how potent his arrogance will become if he is elected. Do you dare imagine a perpetually drunk, belligerent dwarf holding the lives on hundreds in his hands?
Do we really need the standing army he claims we do? Why does Thule the Fool believe the Watch is unable to defend you? Does Thule have some sort of vendetta against our fine Watchmen? What's more important, can we afford to have a Council who lacks faith in the brave men and women of the Watch ruling us?

Porky Fool: Tigereye?
Recently, credible rumors have surfaced concerning the role Council candidate Porky Thule (better known, dear readers, as Thule the Fool) played in the masacres and brutality of the Tigereyes. Historical records point to a single surviving member of the gods forsaken company, a dwarf named Kalvos Hallerstein, being seen from time to time around Lower in recent months. This malevolent dwarf always refuses to take his helm off, and uses a weapon similar to candidate Porki's. Is this the sort of dwarf you want reigning over your children's settlement?
The burden of proof is on candidate Porki Thule to prove that he's not secretly ex-Tigereye mass murderer Kalvos Hallerstein. If truly is who he says he is, he'll track down this villian and bring him to justice.
May the gods have mercy on this heartless hellspawn's wretched soul.
Serving you, as always, with loyalty and dedication,
Martel Smythe
