General inquiry:

Agent Delgado, Spellguard
Cog,
what exactly is it that you wish to accomplish with these notices that you have posted around Sanctuary?
If you have questions concerning the Animatrons, why are you not asking the Spellguard? You do realise what it might look like to the untrained eye, you posting notices such as this. The Spellguard and Seekers have enough trouble working together without going through a lamentable farce, opprobrium shall be the sole corollary the Seekers shall receive should this be the path you desire to tread.

Benito,
In my experience, every time I have approached the Spellguard on the topic of Animatrons, I have been stonewalled with the "Spellguard Secrets" line. One can only bang their head against the same wall so many times.
I was witness to the aftermath of an Animatron exploding for no reason in upper yesterday. If that began to happen on a larger scale, it could pose a serious danger to the citizenry. It occurs to me that perhaps you guys just dont know as much about them as you'd like to think you do, so I'm going to look into it myself.
I have no idea what your last line means, but it smacks of a threat. Benito, Do you really think I'm going to have a difficult time convincing the Town Council of the need for this?
Independant oversight is required into the particulars of the Animatrons. You can either offer it to me yourselves, or we can go through the embarrassing process (for the Spellguard) of doing it through the council.
I, like you, am sworn to service in the town, and there are few that would doubt my honour and ability to keep a "secret". Think about it. I might be able to help.
Sincerely counting the ticks to your reply,
Cog

Cog,
your inability to comprehend the information offered to you by the Spellguard is by no means comparable to the Spellguard keeping secrets. I am not completely sure what you expect to accomplish by bringing this matter up with the council. If it was indeed a Spellguard animatron that malfunctioned then your inability to report the matter to the Spellguard might be interpreted as reckless endangerment of Sanctuary. While on the other hand, if the malfunctioning animatron was one of the animatrons that are commonly found wandering the ruins, one might inquire as to how it found its way into Upper Sanctuary. Perhaps it entered Upper Sanctuary while pursuing one of your Seeker agents after a precipitated expedition into the ruins.
I have already commenced an investigation into the matter, it is my sincere hope that I do not discover that the Seekers have been either intentionally or unintentionally conveying threats upon Sanctuary through their actions.Perhaps you would be willing to recount your experiences concerning this malfunction to me; some kind of written report would be perfect.

Delgado,
Spin it however you like. When the words "Spellguard Secrets" are bandied around with me by members of your own organization, it really leaves little else to the imagination.
No written report is forthcoming on this matter, as if you had read my first letter with more than a casual eye, you would have seen that I had said "I was witness to the aftermath of an Animatron exploding". If you want details on the matter, you'll have to ask the people who saw it happen. I was merely there to ensure that it posed no further danger after the fact. It did not.
So, in short, investigate away! As you see, I've already begun to, and sooner or later, the truth will come out.

Cog,
I apologise for making the assumption that you had actually investigated the matter when you where there. It would have been much easier for my investigation had you thought of questioning any of the witnesses to this explosion you mentioned.Concerning the information you were offered in regards to the Animatrons; I spoke with Animator Dhimani who told me he was quite disappointed by the fact that you spent most of your discussion with him trying to twist his words into some way to prove that animatrons are unsafe than you did listening to the technical specifics that he labored to explain.
I remember seeing postings made by you on various bulletin boards within Sanctuary some time ago where you requested adventurers and their ilk to bring you animatron parts as well as non-functioning animatrons. Were you able to gather many parts and if you were able, how far did your research into them lead you? Do you still posess the material you received?
I just reviewed your letter to animator Dhimani concerning your questions regarding the Animatrons, it is apparent that you have been able to amass quite an amount of information on the subject.
Perhaps it would be best if we spoke a bit in person concerning these things, it would be ideal if you could meet me at the Enclave when you bring in the report I asked for.

Benito,
I'll happily make some time in my hectic schedule to meet with you at the Seeker Halls, but as I said, no report is forthcoming. I'm far too busy. Hope thats clear enough.
