This is for the Forum, not the server: every time I log on and check the 'log me on every time I visit', it doesn't happen. It's only a minor nuisance, but if it can be dealt with, that would be great.

Happens to me too. It's a problem with the browser you use and a complication with cookies as well as a technical issue with the phpBB2 boards.

If you really want to fix it I'd suggest deleting all of our website's cookies and that might remedy it for a while, but certainly not a permanent fix. If you absolutely insist on a permanent fix, I suggest using Internet Explorer.

What I opt to do instead is have the browser memorize my username and password so I just have to hit "Log on," but as always the choice is yours.

In all likelihood, it's probably a cookie problem on your end.

I recommend using the Opera web browser. I haven't logged in for a few weeks.

For the record, it's usually caused by IE creating two cookies, once for "escapefromunderdark.com" and one for "www.escapefromunderdark.com".

I think the former is the one to delete, that way you don't lose all your cookies.
