Hi, I tried contacting a dm on this with no luck.

My Account is Broken Blood and my character is Vastin.

When I logged in I noticed where my domain spells should be I had wierd spells that made no sense, such as General Feat, and then under description it said Cleave. Or Change Gender. Then under feats I got a vareity of odd feats like Dead Sister and other things that make no sense.

I thought perhaps this was just a login issue as I noticed it once before but a simple log in log out fixed the issue. However when I tried to log in it said Illegal Spells Removed, Player Character Login Invalid. Some help please?

The only overrides and haks you need are the one's on the website. "Fate" is not an EfU domain. I'd recommend disabling your others.

Anyway deleted every single Hak I have, leaving on CEP2 and the EFU Domains. I still get the same error message.

Deleted All haks, overrides, and TLK, with exception of the Domains Override for the New Domains. I still get the exact same error.

No idea what to do.

Try downloading the override again.

Try making a new character; once character files are corrupted by illegal spells/feats, it's not easy to fix the actual file. That's part of the danger of using custom overrides on a server they weren't designed for! The only ones we support at the moment are from our website; I create multiple directories, like "override_efu" and "override_dev", and change their name to "override" as needed.

A side note, .hak files themselves wouldn't have had anything to do with this, but if you'd unpacked the .hak file contents to the override directory, all sorts of problems could crop up.

Edit: Try recreating Vastin, rather than a random new character, named "testdomains" or something similar.

Test domains idea worked. Still even after deleting all the haks, overrides, tlks, and completely redownloading and reinstalling the domains hak I still can't seem to get into Vastin do to the Player Login Invalid, Illegal Spells Removed.

Is there anyway someone can go in and just delevel Vastin back to level one, or remove the illegal spells?

I pmed Scotty if anyone has any ideas on editing or scripting that may allow me to log back in as Vastin I'd appreciate them. Pm or post here.

With ScottyB's Advice I have created a character called TestDomains with the exact same build as Vastin. In hopes that ScottyB or another dm can go through and figure out the issue or if it has been removed since I deleted all the other haks,overrides and tlks.

Hopefully this will be fixed and will lead to fixing my original Vastin soon.

As I told him in a pm I fear though that without reinstalling the original haks that caused the problem there is no way to actually see what it was, then again if I reinstall those I can't log in so it's a catch 22 in many ways. My only thoughts as I discussed with Metro is perhaps there is some way to Edit or Script Vastin the original back to normal.

The "illegal spells" (and/or feats) only existed based on your override files. We don't have any control over how your character progresses, mechanically, except for Enforce Legal Characters, which prevents you from logging in characters that deviate from what the server expects.

We warn our players on the file information pages that you may run into conflicts on other servers by using content from our files. It's unfortunate if other communities don't warn their players in a similar manner.

That said, players aren't entirely aware of the content the server enables for DM testing and use, and we might be recommending that players only play EFU with model overrides (for example, hands) and files we provide, unless they are confident in their ability to correct any of their own problems.

So is that the polite way of saying there is no way to get back my character?

Is there no way to deactivate the Enforce Legal Characters for a time so I could log in as Vastin and delevel him to remove whatever is wrong?
