Finished, basically I want to know if it is alright if I play him when I bring him to Sanctuary, or just leave him in my vault to rot. He has Chainmail, a greataxe, a seeing potion, a retreat potion, and some other items.

If the prelude was never finished, and the stuff you have is from the prelude, don't play him.

Feel free to recreate the character with normal beginnings though.
