I understand you're the keeper here at the Beacon these days. I pledged my sword to the Beacon's defence back when Patty was overseeing it, and that pledge still exists.

As the Foehammer teaches, peace defines war and is therefore as important to Tempurans as to any other. Peace, however unstable Lower finds its particular brand, should be a time of growth, caring and safety. The Beacon is a place of all of these things.

Therefore understand that I will do my best to protect the establishment and that, should security problems loom, I am not far away.

Thank you for your kindness and continued support of the Beacon. In troubled times like these, the Beacon's mission of peace, renewal, and hope becomes even more important. I can only hope that I will prove to be as good a keeper as Elias or Patty (Lathander bless their souls).

It was good to see you in town recently. Congratulations on the new training academy. I stopped by recently to walk the grounds and found the renovations to be excellent. It is never easy to create something new, positive, and enduring. I believe, though, that you and your associates at the academy have accomplished those goals.
