I write this letter to express my interest in helping the beacon out in any way possible, I am first and foremost a minstrel and I hope that my music may bring pleasure to those who take refuge in the Beacon. I am also a duelist of moderate skill, if you wish I may be able to train a few people in the art of dueling.

I thank you for your kind letter and interest in the Beacon. I have found that our residents enjoy music a great deal. The right melody can sew seeds of hope in the soul that the best words cannot. Your efforts would be most welcome. Training in dueling would also be welcome. Our region can be a harsh place and I would like our residents to have as much skill in defending themselves as they can.
