[Letter to the Council]

*The letter is sealed with a black ribbon, and the paper has a black frame on its edges.*

Esteemed councilors,

I'm looking for confirmation of the rumors that the lord Councilor Baron Malven Iondale is indeed dead. If this news is true, it saddens me deeply.

I was rather close with his lordship, having acquired the status of spokesman for his house. As such, I would like to request, in the eventuality that he has not composed a will, of which I am not aware, to be allowed judgment over what is left of his remains and posessions, of course with the exception of those items that are the lawful posession of any of our city's defensive organizations.

I hope that you will rule in my favor.

Sincerely,

Grado Verkman

I have not been able to get verification of his death.

In general, if person has no will, I think all his possession will go to next of kin. If he has no relatives, I think fortune goes to the city. However I am uncertain of all the details. I would suggest writing to Mr Riddle, for a verification what is done such events. His recommendation will go long way deciding on such matters.
