To the Watch, Council, Magocracy and Barak-Tor

Good sir or madam,

As you are no doubt aware, several priests of the Banish faith have brazenly been preaching and seek citizens of Upper Sanctuary to join their cult. A man named Malachi actually is public about his efforts to corrupt the souls and minds of good folk. A Banite priestess named Fathal has been successful in the Grand Tournament, proving that that she is a dangerous person and one to be watched.

Another, a bald man with an arrogant mien and the name of Emperitor or something similar openly attacked Sir Tyrus Creed during a duel in the Arena. Several other Banites attacked people viewing the duel with both spell and weapon.

Though we are not citizens of Old Sanctuary, these priests seek to increase their numbers and eventually rule all of Sanctuary. Their very faith itself is anathema to the good work that you do in assisting the rule of law and the welfare of the common man.

We of the Church of the Triad are sworn to protect all men, and where we live and where they live is secondary to the threat these three pose to others. I would like to meet with a representative of your organization, and hear your position on this crucial development that affects us all.

Tormtar Geoffrey Wellington, New Dunwarren

Sir Wellington,

I am always willing to speak.

-Private Sunellar

*tossed in the trash*

Wellington,

I know full well that murder is expedient to Banites and therefore I mislike them as much as the next man. I'm not willing to give you a licence to murder them offhandedly though. Build a case against them, and at the first sign of proof, come down on them with hard resolve.

I suggest you work with the capable men of the Watch.

- Reev

Councilor Reev, [an identical copy is sent to Private Sunnellar]

I thank you for taking the time to answer my letter from a humble man of Torm. It is indeed wrong to murder a man for his faith, yet those of Bane preach of conquering and ruling with an iron fist. It is inesapable, that no priest of the Black Hand can gain his favor without fervent effort to traumatize good folk through violence and murder.

In fact, the man brazenly reports that one of his fellow Banites is dead, and that he rules here now. What further proof do you need that he is indeed a murderer and seeks to overthrow the Watch and the Council? His claim that he rules anything is evidence enough of his dark designs and plans of destruction for the lawful institutions of this city.

At the very least, have this man watched so that you might gain a true appreciation for his nature. At best, he has publicly attempted murder upon myself and has likely slain this Banite named Malachi. I trust that a full investigation of the later will be launched, as his aims are likely to conquer us all.
