[The letter is written in a flowing script. It is left on the dusty counter at the abandoned Blue Mushroom Inn.]

To whom it may concern,

My companions and I have an interest in the Blue Mushroom and the surrounding property. We are unsure if any still visit this place, and are under the impression it is abandoned. We request that a meeting be arranged to discuss the possible purchasing of the property as well as an estimated cost be enclosed in any response letter so that we may arrange the funds. We would like a prompt a response within the next five darks. Word may be left here as we are checking the place regularly or Fort Mur.

The next day the letter can be found, turned over with following written on the back: "What do you offer, on behalf of whom?"

[A new letter replaces the old, left at the same place at the Blue Mushroom Inn.]

To whom it may concern,

It does our hearts good to know that your people are alive and well. We had feared for the worst and have awaited for your return to your post at the Blue Mushroom. Sadly, we are under the impression that you have no interest in returning which is understandable considering the problems in the region.

We are humble merchants and devoted followers of the Hidden One. We desire to purchase the Blue Mushroom and begin to once again use it as a merchant outpost within the region.

We are willing to offer coin if that is what you wish, but other services may be possible. We have no desire to dwell within the cursed city of Sanctuary, and wish to learn from the wisdom of your people by fleeing that place before it is too late. We believe that the Blue Mushroom would make a wonderful and secure place on the Dark Lake to establish a trading route.

If we could establish a time and a place in which we can meet to discuss the issue it would make this process much easier for both sides. We are, again, glad to know that you're alive and well.
