To whom it may concern,
I was told by councilor Bhast that watch equipment is enchanted through your organization. While I understand this process must be very complicated and expensive, I would like to speak with whomever actually does these enchantments. I ask because I would like to learn as much about the process as possible.
I believe it to be my destiny to bless items with the light of the lord. Anything you could show me to achieve this faster would be both appriciated and payed for.

Michael,The process used to enchant the equipment used by the Watch is both time consuming as well as extremely complicated, hardly a method taught overnight. The Spellguard have vast obligations that require our unwavering assiduity and albeit we attempt obsequious solicitude towards the citizens of Sanctuary, we simply do not have the time required to offer you abetment.
I doubt that we could have been of much assistance, the approaches used by the Spellguard are derived from, although inferentially, literally ages of research by some of the most brilliant minds ever to be. It is undoubtedly beyond those whom rely overly on the assistance from the powers above instead of their own minds.

I find it sad when men place more faith in themselves then in the Gods. Where would your magics be without the weave sewn from the tireless efforts of Mystra?
You have no power Delgado, only hurbis. I will do this without your help.

Michael,a sad day would be a day when the minds of men rot away and all trust is put in others. Would Mystra so tirelessly sew the Weave if only for all to ignore it and the masses simply importuned the Gods for all powers and abilities which could simply be received by allowing ingenuity, instinct, ratiocination and simple cognizance to flourish.
True power comes from your own mind, not the distant hands of deities engrossed in matters beyond our comprehension. It is through tireless study and application that one is able to understand matters such as those you asked of.
As for your statements concerning my abilities, I would rather accost a man, whom wishes to hastily apply himself to techniques which took his betters centuries to perfect, with such allegation.
I believe it would be best if you would report to me at the Enclave if you ever find yourself with the ability to enchant items with your so-called blessings. I will review your abilities and ensure you are proficient enough in order to do such things without endangering either Sanctuary or any of her citizens.
This is not a request.

Delgado,
While your words are elloquent and well chosen I can not separate the sentiment from that of a child guarding a secret. You say you fear the dangers of my pursuits but also make it clear that you are unwilling to teach anything about it. You insult my intellect. Well, I have enough intellect to see that your organization desires the process to remain a secret, so that -they- can be the sole providers of it. Cut the show Delgado, you are no bard.
What you fail to see is what may be accomplished if we work together. Cooperation is such a simple idea. You would think a man of your education would have learned something of it. Your individualism endangers us all.
When I learn the technique, I will report to you, if only to show you that you are no more special then any other man. In the meantime, stowe your pretention safely up your backside. -This- is not a request.

My words but a whisper, your deafness a shout. The Spellguard do not feel required to hide anything involving the enchantment of items from you Michael. The information concerning this matter can be studied from various sources and it would be a foolish endeavor for us to try and seal all such information from the public eye, even if we wished to do so.
Read my correspondence again after you wipe the grime of your own hubris from your eyes and perhaps you will understand my words. Your blessings will undoubtedly be able to enchant items to some extent through the manipulation of powers received and not earned but that does not mean that the processes used by the Spellguard will be of any use to you. The before mentioned processes are non-trivial and require you to be able to understand much of what I previously mentioned as having been discovered by previous masters of the Weave, a thing that I doubt will happen while your so-called wisdom bears you in the direction you appear to be headed in.
I would ask that you refrain from such childlike insults as the one you ended your last letter with, there is no need for such things. I am merely answering your correspondence and have not shown you such disrespect, I would have thought a servant of your Broken Lord to apply himself with more dignity than you have shown.
And by the way, remember to request Warding for your house of prayer before you begin accosting your Lord for another fraction of his powers within it.

Delgado,
My apologies, you insulted my faith and I lost my temper. We should meet and bury the hatchet.
