Letter to the Spellguard

Agents

I write to you in regard to 2 matters. Firstly i would like to discuss further the details of the assistance you can give in driving back the Chosen.

I would see your skills being best placed at removing via magic or animatrons the rocks that block the stairway. My kin and i have damaged the rocks greatly and have induced many cracks but their removal will require more that weapon blows.

Additionally any support you could offer when we decend the stairs would be welcome, particularly Agents Blake and Hectra whom we have been dealing.

As discussed and agreed with Agent Hectra this assistance would be rewarded with the mechanical ball we have and potentially a portion of any discoveries on the venture down the stairs (this can be discussed more in person).

The second topic I wish to discuss is that of gems and your use of them. Though no mage myself i understand that you mages use them frequently in your magic in one way or another.

My clan and i can supply you with a regular supply of gems ranging from large diamonds to rubys, crystals and smooth gems, through our mining activities. If you would be interested in discussing this further please let me know. Potentially by supplying you we could ofset the burdensome rent we pay for our home to the Watch? We would be most interested in hearing your thoughts.

Yours

Kasin

I believe this is a definite possibility Kasin. I will get back to you directly and in person about the details. The Spellguard certainly has an interest in gemstones, particularly smooth gems.

We may have a few other particular needs that your kin may be helpful with. Have you within your clan any skilled at raising, growing, and harvesting fungus? Your Barak-Tor may be well suited as a fungal garden, provided you have someone skilled enough to raise a special species of mushroom we require a grower for.

Agent Hectra

Agent

I look forward to meeting in person regarding the driving back of the Chosen and the mining which are completing.

As a matter of interest for you we are logging and mapping all that we find to ensure more accurate prospecting and supply into the future.

We would certainly be interested in the use of Barak Tor as a centre of Fungus production (particularly the lower section). though not experts i asure you that we could turn our hand to it, can't be that different to mining at which we are supreme!

We have previously and continue to work hard to remove fungus from Barak tor but i am sure if the deal was right, we could work toward cultivation of a food source.
