It was brought to my attention recently that an illithid portal was located inside Sanctuary on the wall of a building between the Watch-House stocks and Archibald estate. Captain Zebulon Smythe of Archibald Estate showed me the location informing me that both the Watch and the Spellguard arrived on the scene at the time because no Ordinants were available. Apparently the portal was sealed by the Spellguard at the time.
This portal opening and sealing took place between two and three months back. It may be a minor footnote in the comings and goings of Sanctuary; yet if you have any information about the nature of this event - the illithid portal in Sanctuary - being closed by the Spellguard, could you possibly pass on notes or copies of such files to the Society? That is, of course, if you have the time to locate such files. The study of Illithid is important, I believe, and any activities inside Sanctuary should be taken very seriously.
Also, the matter of negotiations between Spellguard and Society regarding a copy of an implant detection device: do you have any further word?
