How many metafactions are you allowed to have? one of my characters has strong ties to Lower, Old, and the Machine colony. So I have all three boards.

Old and Lower Sanctuary are available to all registered users; if your character frequents the Machine Colony and/or has contact in the Spellguard-related factions, then access to that board is alright.

You can be in as many open metafactions as your character(s) visit. If prominent characters of those metafactions have seen fit to make you unwelcome, the moderator (a player of one of those prominent characters) will reject your subscription to the metafaction or remove you from it.

Script-wise, your character will belong to a single metafaction; this will probably be set by innkeepers/camp supervisors/etc when you set a spawn point.
