A sealed letter is left at the bar with Rak. It is addressed to:"Mr. Roarin Bilmfrickten, Dunwarren Pathfinding Services,Room 12, Last Stand Inn.' The letter reads:
Mr. Bilmfrickten!
In accordance with our recent conversation I have deposited the mutually agreed upon coin to your employee, Gobi Stendle, who is a friend of mine. I trust that you are now in possession of the amount I have added to your funds.
Please take your time with a careful examination of the proposed concept I have asked of you. I do not have to emphasise discretion in this matter; I am sure you are well aware of what we both stand to gain. Likewise, I hope you will trust me with the word-of-mouth contract we agreed upon.
I am looking forward to your report.
Yours in the spirit of true-design and pure inquiry,
Ordinant Kepler Szul.

A letter is slid under the door of Room 12 in the Last Stand. It reads:
Mister Bilmfrickten,
This is simply a follow-up letter.
Any luck in procuring the agreed upon designs? I am just curious how this little project of ours is faring? I am sure you are most busy with all the current activity in the Ruins and such.
In any event, let me know how things are progressing, when it is most convenient for you to do so.
You can contact me now via the Sanctuary Library. Unless of course you do not mind travelling to New Dunwarren to visit the Chapterhouse.
Thankyou for your invaluable time,
Kepler Szul.

Mister Bilmfrickten,
How fares the engineering plans we agreed upon? Still in the works? I am just curious to know how things are progressing, since it seems you are quite in demand of late. Whatever the case may be, simply let me know what stage of planning you may be at, when you find the time to scratch yourself, so to speak.
There is also a secondary matter, a legal matter that I wished to speak to you about in person. Nothing to do with the first project. If I cannot speak with your good self, then perhaps Gobi Stendle might represent you? In very general terms, it is regarding a Dunwarren Pathfinding Services research enquiry with the Sanctuary Library, something the Council wishes to clarify before a research source will be released by them to the Library.
I cannot be more specific than this at the moment. If you do not mind Gobi Stendle representing DPS Ltd, then our common research interest in the Machine might come to surface faster. If not, perhaps we can schedule a time to meet in person?
Yours in the spirit of free enterprise,
Kepler Szul.

Mr. Szul,
To date, I havent had a chance to work upon the designs you've requested, but this should not be taken as an indication of my inability to procure said device for you. I am currently investigating other methods of getting the item in question for you.
Gobi is my partner, so indeed, he is authorised to act on my behalf in all matters involving the Dunwarren Pathfinding Services company.
Finally, I would like to mention that there is a large tome in my room that is my life's work that is titled "Encyclopedia Dunwarrica". I have recently laid out my will such that this book will be passed along to the library in the event of my permanent demise. My will is filed with the office of the Herald, and Mr. Riddle ensured me that he will deliver the tome personally when that day comes.
May it enlighten all who read it as it did he who wrote it!
Sincerely Yours,

Mister Bilmfrickten,
I will make sure the Acting Library Curator, as well as current and future Librarians, are fully aware of the existence of your will filed at the Office of the Herald. Such a work, be assured, would be highly valued by the Library. I will make measures to ensure that, in future, multiple copies are made of the tome, so that the general reading public can have unrestricted access to the contents.
Regarding the engineering designs: If you require further funding for the project, running & exploration costs and such, please do not hesitate to ask me. I am aware of the difficulty of the request I have made for such an item. Take your time. Future generations will benefit from such technology, I can assure you.
Considering your workload, I will instead seek out Gobi, and work with him on the secondary matter.
May your Encyclopedia be blessed by the good will of the Highest Gods and bring enlightenment to all.
Kepler Szul.
Ordinant and Sanctuary Librarian.
P.S. Just as an aside, I believe that Warden Redpath of New Dunwarren wishes that you would make contact with him urgently in regards to a door. Unless of course you have already done so. Best regards.

Hail Roarin,
Firstly, I wish to congratulate you on your recent submission to the library 'A Brief History of Dunwarren'. It is a work of art!
Secondly, I was wondering if you have made any progress with the plans that I asked you to design for the Society?
Is there something further I can do to aid you with this endeavour? If it is coin, then name an updated fee, and I will be more than happy to oblige you. As you may be aware, the matter is quite urgent at present. Regardless, I trust that you know what you are doing, and your expertise in the matter is highly valued.
If you would contact me by leaving a note or letter at the Sanctuary Library, as soon as you possibly can, it would be very much appreciated.
May Mystra bless your every endeavour!

Mr. Szul,
It is with my sincere apologies that I will have to renege on our contract. Of late, the vigilante actions coming from New Dunwarren and the Society in specific, have become too great even for myself - a sincere and thoughtful patriot to endur.
I will return the retainer fee to you at my first available opportunity.
Sincerely Yours,
