When you're trying to kill someone, and you have the door blocked by ya assocates. A door, two with massive half orcs, and someone slips through it inspite of the fact that they're is TWO half Orcs BLOCKing the exit. Isn't that a taking advantage of the Game mechanics?
When you're blovking a door
No more than assuming it's 'blocked' is. There's no real way to determine what happens (tumble checks, strength, whatever) in the attempt to block/flee, so you have to go with what happens happens. If you want to prevent someone from fleeing, there's myriad ways to achieve it!
Just seemed at the moment blatant meta gaming.
TNVW, it's not. You can't just sit there and pixelwise "block" anything. It fails to take into account the stupidity of the guards, the intelligence, dex, tumble, str, etc, of the person trying to get out. All in all, if you want to "stop" someone, either use KD, a trap, or a spell.
Edited to add: A lot of people also believe that half-orcs are so much larger than humans, which is not true. Descriptions of half-orcs like "he is a massive mountain of muscle and is 7 foot tall and weighs 500 pounds" are a gross overestimation of how big a half orc can be. Unfortunatley, it seems to be the norm on half-orc descriptions.
