My Evil Cleric with the correct alignment, domains, and deity is having trouble casting Inflict.

Although he can cast everything else, whenever I attempt inflict, it says that I "Have no uses or preparations left of that spell" and I don't even wave my arms about.

My domains are Hatred and War, if that might be a factor.

Well you know how you can stock no cure/inflict and still be able to cast them for sacrificing a spell of equal level?

Sometimes if you stock domain spells that aren't normally cleric spells it won't let you do that.

I notice it on my cleric when I stock an identify I can't cast cure light and sacrifice the identify.

You shouldn't be able to sacrafice Domain spells for healing/harming spontaneous casting.

It's nothing to do with that.

I can't cast it full stop. I fill my spell slots with it, I can't cast it. I fill my spell slots with other spells and try spontaneous casting, I can't cast it. It just doesn't cast, no matter what.

Same problem. I am able to cast Cure spells spontaniously, and I if remember, the script is suppose to disable that for evil.

After some testing I've determined that different valid target types in the spells.2da files on your computers / the server are preventing you from casting this spell. I've made the Inflict spell lines exactly as they were before. The restoration should take effect following the next reset.
