I'm the acting keeper of the Beacon under the management of Mr. Winston. I would request that you rescind your orders to take the life of Noirin, the Loremaster. He is one of three caretakers I've hired under the direction of Mr. Winston to see to the day to day needs of the poor and homeless. I believe you would be doing a great disservice to the Beacon and to the less fortunate of Lower Sanctuary if you were to kill Noirin. The children are particularly fond of his tales of long ago and far away.

We appreciate everything the Beacon has done for Lower. Ubel himself would have smiled had he seen the dedication you show to the commendable work of aiding the suffering and downtrodden.

However, there are children in Upper who will enjoy his tales as well, and we humbly suggest that he relocates at once so that he can begin work with that neglected group of children.

The operatives of the Spelltyrants have no place in Lower. He has been warned.
