Thought I'd officially say 'G'day' (yes, I'm an Aussie).

I've played EfU twice now and I've decided to migrate over from City of Arabel, permanently. Been playing for 3 years now. EfU seems to be a rich, interesting setting full of colorful, believable characters. You can almost feel the anxiety of the PCs at wishing to see the surface again!

Had an amazing first couple of experiences here and huge thanks to players Elephant Tusk (Tusk on the Forums here) playing Yohn, the Mute Minstrel (LOVE your PC concept!) and Isolde the Hin (can't remember your player, sorry). I also walked into the Devil's PvP portal that appeared on the weekend - SCARY!

Still as attractive as two years ago, now enriched with the most wonderful players. If you ask Miss. EfU, she'll tell you she's in her prime. But yeah; that's what chicks do. Play her, mate. But never abuse her. 8)

I agree, while Arabel is a realistic sort of city, there doesn't seem to be much Dm interaction nor an overall goal of the server. It's a sort of 'live your life out' kinda place there.

Here there is serious danger if you travel anywhere outside the city and weapons and spells are weaker than in arabel (you'll never see a +1 weapon ever).

PS - are there any regular players and DMs in the GMT +10 timezone? Notice most servers are a bit quiet without any DM presence when we get a chance to play in the evenings.

Would love to know who you are to build character relationships, storylines, etc.

PS - I play mainly on the weekends, Sat and\or Sun and some weeknights.

If you have a day off and play in a totally different time, you meet some new players who may have had nothing to do with your PC. Nothing's more hilarious looking around and going...

'Where are my fellow mighty adventurers', and getting a

'who the hell are you' from the current cast on the server.

You state, 'Why, I'm mighty Hero XYZ, haven't you heard of me?'

'No'

'Oh... Bugger.'

I agree, it was like that on my last server. Except I was Mighty Villain XYZ. Thought I'd give a hero a try this time around though.
