You are called to the Hoaran temple to pay penance for the harms you caused on the day that you attempted to bring in Djiana Morsakhal, of the House of Morsakhal of Lower. While your intents may or may not have been founded, good, or evil, your actions did not show the appropriate actions for what should take place in Lower. You are not called in for attempting to 'fight evil, slavery' or whatever else you may call it. You are called in to pay a small penance for the innocents that were harmed. Those who did not know what was happening, and were harmed during the fighting. The beggars who were stomped on during the fighting, the innocent warriors who were beaten down believing you to be an invading force. You are not called in to sacrifice your ideals, to say you would not have done it again. You are called in to pay your respects to the innocents who were harmed, to murmur, in front of the Lord of the Three Thunders, that your vengeance was intended to be limited to the Morsahkals who wronged you.

There is no dishonor in this, but only gaining back the favor of those who were unjustfully wronged. As a paladin, I'm sure you understand this necessity.
