Is Tiamat considered a god?

Her title is Nemesis of the Gods. But at the same time she is considered a god herself. Tis is giving me a head ache, I need opinions.

I'm full of opinions, but here's a fact:

FRCS "Faiths and Pantheons" lists Tiamat as a lesser Faerunian Diety. You can read the half page dedicated to her on page 108.

Being the Nemesis of the Gods does not preclude one from being a God oneself. She was pretty much the main 'bad' god of the Untheric Pantheon and when they came to Faerun, that kind of continued over to all of the other Gods.

Mostly she wants to banish ALL of the other Gods and rule Faerun by herself, hence, Nemesis of the Gods.

I need to get the guide books -_-

Try Limewire. It's where I got most of mine.

truth, Limewire is chock full of FR books. Before I had to format I had about half the official library on PDF

Tiamat is a goddess.

What Snoteye said. Outside of some pretty rare cultists, she's not a God that gets human worshipers or even the an occasional prayer to the evil diety to stave off the bad stuff.

Curiously enough, though, there have been active cults of Tiamat on several occasions in both CoA and EfU. They should be fairly rare, yes, but dragons seem to attract players for some reason. :P

Now we just need some Bahamut cults to combat them.
