A letter to Patty Threadbare, c/o the Beacon; Jorino (Atten)

Ms Threadbare,

I am writing to you on the off chance that the Beacon's coming feast requires any financial aid, or any help regarding its organization. Please don't hesitate to ask if there is anything I can help with.

Regards, Sachrissa Elaueth.

P.S. I'm a reprehensible cook, as a warning.

*the letter collects dust, begins to crumble, and, in time, is burned up the next time the Beacon gets lit on fire. It'll happen. Don't pretend it won't.*

Another letter is sent, directed to Cort Jorino, with the following addendum:

Mr Jorino,

I am sorry for your loss, and as such am doubly willing to offer my aid in such a time. I hope to hear from you soon.

Sachrissa

//The letter is received and replied to in a neat legible hand//

Mistress Elaueth,

Thank you for your kind words. Patty was one of the most generous and selfless individuals I've had the pleasure of knowing. Her loss is a great blow to the Beacon. She will be remembered well.

I will consult with the staff soon and see what our needs are in relation to our resources. Your aid would be most welcome.

Thank you again for your kind words and looking forward to meeting you soon.

Lathander's light protect you,

Cort Jorino
