The Society seeks the services of capable individual(s) with good understanding of ancient Dunwarren systems and devices to assist with ongoing project. Payment will be assured to those who prove skill and capability in the tasks required. For further information contact Ordinant Kanaut at The Society Chapterhouse in Upper Sanctuary.
You will surely find no better experts than the wizards of the Spellguard. I expect this information is required to battle the malevolent aberrations that threaten Sanctuary, perhaps I can unofficially lend some aid to your endeavor.
Let me know what you require.

It seems we may both have something the other desires, Agent. Please stop by The Chapterhouse when you are available and find me, and we can discuss this further.

I have presented your requests to our superiors. It is moving favorably, but perhaps to help speed up the process you can present us with some reports and information about anything you've learned during your own explorations of the machine and more specifically what locations you've been traveling through.
I believe it is extremely feasible that a device such as you requested will be granted in full to your Society on the condition you do not attempt to tamper with it or alter it in any manner.

Agent Hectra,
What follows are two brief reports detailing our more notable expeditions. Other such expeditions have been rather mundane operations in the bowels, uncovering nothing of real note.
Expedition 1:
We travelled into the Bowels of the Machine in search of aforementioned thrall detection equipment. We came upon a tunnel after a time that led downward into a before unexplored section of the Bowels. We found within a large amount of the more common animatrons, and many of those large, metallic bays within which they often recluse into.
We searched for a considerable amount of time but were unable to find what we were seeking. We recovered only a measure of gold and some basic supplies from stores being used by animatrons in order to repair and rebuild sections of the area.
Expedition 2 :
This time the focus of our expedition was to be the abandoned Junkyard below the Sewers. After a recent expedition the place was cleansed of aberrant activity, and lay empty.
A group of volunteers, along with myself, descended down to the Junkyard to begin salvaging. Immediately after entering we were set upon by very fearsome chosen warriors. Beating them back, they then retreated (or so we thought) into a tunnel.
After brief preparation we followed. We found inside Chosen battling with animatrons, and a great deal of broken or malfunctioning svirfneblin technology. The chosen screamed "Kill the last gnome!" and leapt deeper into the caverns. While my companions battled I followed and found a svirfneblin hidden away deep in the cave system below the Junkyard, along with animatron defenders. The chosen was sadly able to slay the gnome before I could put them all down. After finishing up what remained of the chosen, we searched the cave system. We found a great deal of useless or broken equipment and a large cache of various refined metals, presumably used by the gnome to repair his animatron defenders.
I am very glad that your superiors have looked with such favour upon our requests however. If there is anything else you might require of us, do not hesitate to ask.
