The spell/ability Blindness/Deafness is a very common spell used by both PCs and NPCs. The spell itself is hugely overpowered in RP servers since you can't just go around using your map to run your way out. And even when you do, there's always the issue of you losing AC because of it! 50% chance to miss. Yeah. This spell among the worst spells you can get hit by.
The cure, however, exists. Unlike cheap prevention methods such as PfAlignment, the only cure is Remove Blindness/Deafness. I feel the price for this cure should suffer a dramatic decrease. The spell is just too common and good in this server to not allow people a cure at a reasonable price. Cheers.

time for blindness/deafness is 2rounds/ level. Since its been reduced, It is "painful" but not that much...
Best counter? = invis potion.
Your character should know which vial on his belt is the emergency invisibility potion.

Potions of Remove Blindness/Deafness are extremely common drops. Have one hotkeyed and you're fine.

Could be. Seems I never find any though. Like. Never. :)

And my Paladin doesn't do Invisibility while he's fighting.

I've never been killed because of blindness since, as noted it doesn't last that long. I've just put myself on "parry" mode and waited it out.

Theres also other (cheaper!) ways of removing Blindness/Deafness without using its cure.

Share the knowledge mate. I think you're mistaken; as Lesser Restoration, Remove Disease and Neutralize Poison don't do the trick. Not talking Cleric/Mage spells here!

There is a more simple way. Blindness/deafness a spell effect, and what can you do to get rid of spell effects? I'll let you guess.

Wouldn't that be "abuse" of the game engine?

The /c commands are not the correct answer. Guess again!

All spell effects are stripped in the Fugue. Simple solution.

Dispel Magic doesn't necessarily remove all your spell effects.
It strips your buffs as well, which makes Candee cry and -
It is not a cheaper solution.
For clarification: /c dispel commands do not remove negatives, just beneficial bonuses.
