Members of the Sanctuary Watch:
It is, as always the Spellguard's sole desire to maintain the safety of Sanctuary. I expect that many of your men are already beginning to notice that their arrest wands, Spellguard amulets, etc. are beginning to fail or perform erratically.
Very soon, the anti-invisibility wards on the gates and the very animatrons that protect them will begin to fail as well. As I understand it, the current situation within Sanctuary names Agent's as guests without the ability to detain criminals or protect the various settlements of old Dunwarren.
This is an unfortunate situation which is untenable. I wish to meet with members of your organization to determine how to make a viable reality possible before the many Spellguard powered enchantments you rely upon to do your jobs begin to fail--from the Townhall's announcement system to the enchantments on your armor.

Agents of the Spellguard,
We wanna work with you too, but you need to stop with the bloody threats. Don't pretend it's otherwise. Me and the others are proud people, if nothing else, and we won't stand for it. You seceded from Sanctuary, and legally that means that you aren't citizens. We didn't make you guests, you brought that much on yourselves. The new Council isn't even elected yet, so have the decency to have some patience until the proper authority can resolve the issue between our groups. We'll be glad to work with you just as we always have, but we won't pretend to be your servants and slaves, just because you hold some things over our heads.
It's for the same reason that we won't let you arrest our citizens. You aren't part of our Sanctuary. We won't live under your thumbs, and no citizen would love us if we did.
So hold your horses until something can be arranged by the Council.

I am flabberghasted you detect a threat in my correspondence. I am certain I have not threatened the Watch, if some other agents have please elucidate me and I will see to it that they are properly punished. However, our succession may mean that we no longer have the status of citizens but we do not believe it means we can no longer arrest criminals when they are a sufficient danger to our settlement.
If you have worked with the Council for any length of time, then you know they are slow to react and often do so in ways detrimental to those involved. This is why our government prefers to make details of our cooperation directly with those affected, so you can present it to your government for approval once it is more operational than it is now.
As well, by pointing out that your enchantments may soon begin to crumble: we wish only to point out that haste has certain positives over waiting. Finally, because this truly is a good faith effort--any individual member of the Watch who desires to maintain his wards or enchantments is encouraged to visit the Spellguard personally so we can help them.

Agents of the Spellguard,
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, and leave the issue of your "reminders" alone.
But the Sheriff has spoken, and this is a decision for the New Council to make.
If our citizens become a threat to you, they are our citizens and will be punished by our law.
Be assured. Casting outside the wards remains a crime here still, and few of us are daft enough to throw away a chance for peace on a grudge.
I'll pass on your message.

Am I to expect that our citizens shall be punished by our laws? These are the details we should work out between ourselves; rather than leave to a Council which can only fail as has the previous.

I'll swing by the Tower for a Meeting with you or yours sometime soon, and see what we can work out.
