When the asleep effect is on a PC, it would be nice if we could yank their gold purse or something methinks.
Yanking Packs from Sleeping Folk
I also think that doors at the last stand that are locked should be pickable! That way when a man is snorring someone could sneak in your room and instantly rob you! I like that idea!
BEgone vile Curs! BEgone and with your criminal ways!
So, yea, I like this idea.
The upper is considerably more "safe" you can do that in lower and I have infact done it to goblins with my ranger. Just make sure you shut the door once you come in so they can't run away as easy.
Dr Dragon I also think that doors at the last stand that are locked should be pickable! That way when a man is snorring someone could sneak in your room and instantly rob you! I like that idea!
Not the sleeping effect when you hit R, the sleeping effect caused by the spell, silly. But I have no problems with both.
As for the actual doors at The Last Stand, I disagree as you're paying more for better sleep and security. It'd be cool to see such robberies at The Beacon, however.
The Last Stand uses unconventional locks. A common thief shouldn't be able to pick them!
ok how many of you are glad they got rid of pick pocket? well this is just like pickpocket but for mages since they use about the same amount of hand motions as would use but with less effort of not getting cought, and besides do you all really want to see a crap load of half elves around once it takes effect?
It's a bit more complicated. First off I don't think it's desireable to lose 2K worth of gold when you rest in say, the Crone, to some random person who rushes into your room, yanks your gold pouch and runs for it. The whole idea sounds cool enough, though it should require pick pocket vs. <check> checks and you should definitely not be able to grab one's entirely purse without at least some oldschool PvP.
Personally, I think this would cause more bad feelings and annoyance than it's worth. Besides, it would lead to people "spawn camping" the crone, waiting for people to sleep so they could yoink their purses. And if it was only implemented for the sleep status effect, said campers would complain it wasn't realistic.
Well seeing the negative response as to the inn restings, I would like to point out that my original query was for the spell effect of the Circle I spell, Sleep. What are people's thoughts on that?
If it works with subdual, I don't see a problem with it working on the sleep spell effect. If this is possible to script, I would support it.
I like having options other than PvP for acquiring things from people who don't like to share. :)
