At least on the top floor, no matter how long any of the doors have been closed, you can hear everything going on on the top floor that is within range. That is rather undesirable when you're interrogating people, or conducting interviews behind locked doors.
The walls in the Watch house are thin!
Two things:
1.) You've never been to the "top floor" of the Watch House, because you're not a Lieutenant, and you don't even have access to the Sergeant Quarters. You mean the Main Floor.
2.) This isn't true anyway! I've gone without being able to hear people in the Lounge plenty of times!
Each time the door opens it doesnt block text for like 2 minutes.
Well, not that I have been in the Watch facilities all that much, but the walls do not seem to block out much conversation. The lounge walls are so thin, I started whispering just to make sure the folk outside could not hear me, because I certainly heard a good deal of their conversation.
30 seconds of being able to hear normal Talk after a door closes, I believe.
Yes, I know of the general 30 second thing with all doors. But even when the door has not been opened for a long time, I can hear people, say, in the capital area talking, in the lounge area.
And yes, I meant primarily the main floor of the Watch house.
I could hear people in the entrance area emoting and such, while I am in the lounge area with the door closed for several minutes.
