Honoured Servant of Torm,
Despite having perished in a vicious Drow attack, I am eternally thankful to Ilmater for the opportunity to continue to serve in the afterlife, especially here where corruption runs rampant. After all, who is more in need of salvation and guidance than those who suffer in Hell itself?
I do not claim that all here are dead, though the vast, vast majority are. Of the living here, there are legends of powerful people who travel the planes freely, there are the devils and demons native to this place and their legions of minions, and there are those who are sent directly as servants of the Gods. Which category might you fall in?
Though I belong to a Temple, it does not serve any God or other power. It is a Temple of peace and quiet contemplation. When we quiet the voices outside, we are better prepared to hear the voice of our God from within. First we must recognize the illusion that is our existence. Then we must meditate to learn our purpose for being sent here, and through service to our personal deity, make ourselves worthy to ascend to eternal paradise. We ask that violence and other taints of devil influence be left at the door, and that you give peace to all who enter seeking peace.
I ask that we search for a way that our organizations can work together. Please look upon my Temple with an open mind and do not judge on appearances alone, as the eyes are often deceived by illusions. Instead, look to your minds and your hearts and hear our message of hope. Surely by working together, we could achieve more than we ever could do separately?
Please send your reply to Thelonious, at the Red Skull Temple across from the Pissing Crone Inn in Lower Sanctuary.
