People of Torm and the Triad - UNITE!

*posted on fine paper with elegant script, in the Last Stand Inn and at the Town Hall*

Goodly people of Sanctuary,

We have been delivered to this place amongst the evil denizens of the Underdark. The might of Lord Tyr and the Loyal Sword of Torm the True stand ready to defend all those who would seek protection from the darkness.

The pain and suffering wrought upon you by cruel of Bane, the deceivers of Cyric, and the cowards of Mask threaten to overwhelm this place in the wilderness. So then, turn to men and women that would stand up to them and drive them off with the burning light of justice and purity.

I, Tormtar and Faithblade Geoffrey Wellington send out a calling for all those of the Triad to unite in holy war against the mortal enemies of our patrons. You walk the streets and ways of this place unaware of the others who would stand at your side.

Isolated, the enemy works to extinguish the light that you bring to this foul place.

United, our might will cleanse this place of the taint and horror which has sadly become a part of the common man's existance.

I ask you all to join this holy crusade, from the mighty knight to the folk who live in fear, turn to Torm and his allies Tyr and Ilmater for your protection. Seek out his servants, and we shall share the vision of what this place might be. Those who would freely lend their sword to this cause, I have been entrusted to accept your oath to do THEIR work.

A mighty temple of Tyr is being built. Have no doubt that the enemy will seek to stop this, or destroy it given the chance. But together, the people of this place can assist the noble Watch and bring Law and Justice to Sanctuary.

Do not hide in fear, for that is what the enemy wants. Take up your arms and armor and stride boldy forth to protect your little corner of Sanctuary. If you have been blessed with riches, give freely to those who would protect your prosperity. The Watch and the new Temple of Tyr will make good use of your generosity. Those who can not do either, simply offer your prayers to the Triad and attend our services to empower us on this most holy crusade.

But most importantly all can do good unto others for nothing pains the enemy more than this. Each helpful deed is a wound struck in the side of those we face, and hurts them sorely.

Finally, I ask that all men and women who would fight for Lord Tyr and his loyal allies Torm the True, Ilmater the Crying God, and Lathander the Morninglord send a missive to this humble Tormtar so that your name will be counted and known amongst the armies of the Faithful.

Go then, and do the work of goodly and lawful men.

*realizing his error, Geoffrey sends a copy to the Beacon and posts one in the Crone as well.*
