This is Patty Threadbare of the Beacon. I will be brief; I have reason to suspect that the claims made by the White Stag regarding Frum Highill are entirely truthful. I was informed of his connection to a Devilish power outside the city by an anonymous informant in whom I have the utmost trust. I must not go until details, but you have my word as a devout of the Crying God that I do not mislead you.

It is not necessary to send a reply. I am merely writing you this information so that you are not caught unawares. The cult of which the White Stag speaks is pervasive and powerful.

If you find Frum Highill alive, I hope that you will inform the Upper Watch. My friends there are, I suspect, seeking him out, and regardless of his ultimate fate, I think it would do them well to see a resolution to their investigations.
