Letter to Elmuthalleth Anver

Servant of Torm,

It was a pleasant surprise to meet you. Obviously our Lord Torm has sent you ahead of myself and our Order of the Golden Lion to prepare the way. I have no doubt that we did not arrive here by accident. Instead, this festering pustule of black evil needs to be lanced in order to save the souls of the people who have been drawn to Sanctuary.

Tell me, have you been deprived from the word of Torm while here, or is there one who has fullfilled your spiritual needs? I need not remind you of your Oath is seems, as you take steps to support Lord Tyr in the establishment of his faith.

But do make sure that you represent the Loyal Fury in this, and that his followers are allowed a role in this thing you do for this Tyrran. And I request audience with this priest, in order to fullfill my oath and coordinate our efforts to purge this place of the darkness that seems to linger in the hearts of men.

Further, I find myself quite destitute, and humbly ask that you extend the courtesy of a loan until Torm's benevolence visits the Knights and myself. Wearing the skins of rats and delivering pies to a pompous glutton does nothing to further the works of Torm. It was curious to realize that you were too preoccupied with dividing the spoils of some mercenary work to offer your tithe to Lord Torm. I am sure that you will take care of this in the future.

I, Tormtar Geoffrey Wellington anxiously await your response in these things.

*sealed with the sign of Torm*
