Letter at the Beacon for Patty

[A simple folded letter is slipped under the locked door in the beacon. A green wax seal binding it closed, with a simple V imprinted into the seal. On the folded over parchment, the name "Patty" is written]

I'll help Friday with what she needs. She need only ask, and I will make myself available, for as long as I can spare. Pass it along for me, I have no idea how to get a message to her.

Also, sorry about last time.

*the letter is found and tucked away. A quick reply is penned, and though time was taken, it also looks to be written in haste*

Sir Vil'vithna,

I am most grateful for your offer to aid us here in Lower. As I understand it, Friday is seeking many things, the least of which is the aid of men and women with knowledge of animals. She has been driving herds towards this city, and we need aid to bring them somewhere safe to begin farming them. Friday will no doubt take mail both here at the Beacon and at the Crone, as both are places she tends to frequent.

Please don't worry about it. That entire day ought to be written off to misery. Let us make a much happier tomorrow, okay?

~Patty Threadbare, Mendicant
