Letter to the Spellguard

Honorable Spellguard,

Lord Alexander Archibald wishes to understand your position more clearly. He has ordered me, Captain Zebulon Smythe, to visit with one of you to discuss your plans for the future of Sanctuary.

I am sure that we all want a strong secure Sanctuary, and that by working together we can make that happen. I do believe we understand your concern about the turn of events here, and we do also believe that you are open to dialogue with the Archibald family as they have had close ties with the Spellguard since the founding of Sanctuary many years ago.

Please send word as to whom Captain Zebulon Smythe should meet. I look forward to hearing from you.

Humbly, Captain Zebulon Smythe

Captain,

The Order of the Spellguard has decided, that since there is no one taking the responsability of defending and developing this town, it will be us who shall take it. We have offered the city a protection from the vicious eyes of our enemies, we have hidden our magical abilities within our walls and we have and will still offer magical enchantments and improvements to uphold those that decide to work with us to defend our town. Remember, equipment of Watch and all the protections around town has been made by our order.

We would be intriqued to have the Archibald estate's captain with us and talk about our future views. See to find Agent Blake or myself, Agent Graden, when you have time.

- Agent Graden

*note left with the Spellguard by Captain Smythe*

Agent Graden,

We thank you for thinking of the best for the city during these trying times. We feel the Spellguard has always played an important part of the security and wealthfare of the city. It gladdens Lord Alexander's heart to hear that you are not sitting down but standing up, ready to take on those who will attack the city in these dire times.

I understand that all of you are busy as I have come to visit on occasion but have yet to find you available.

I wish you well, and let you know that we will continue to honor the great work of the Spellguard as well as work with any new council that gets voted in as the stability of the city is of high importance. We do hope to see cooperation, when warranted of course, for the benefit of the city.

I will continue to visit the Tower to promote the continuing friendship between the Spellguard and The Archibald family.

May Lord Archibald walk in your wake, Captain Zebulon Smythe
