Every now and again he comes out with something that broadsides me and I actually laugh. At the internet.

Someone should make a collection of metro's great quotes and archive them together in a "best of" compilation, the way they do with the rolling stones... i'd buy that. For a dollar.

Uhm allright lesse... They make their own character, same as us. Their character can run lightning fast, is immortal, is omnipotent and more often then not, wears a ridiculous outfit. :P

Seriously though, DMing isnt as far removed from the experience we have as you may think. Its actually hard work and requires quite a bit of studying if you want most commands; console or otherwise to be second nature. Which you do, since theres never enough time to keep up with the players and decisions they make. Most of the time its a thankless job, so love your DM's folks 8)

Just try it yourself through the client DM option, then create a game uploading a NWN campaign module: all you'll be missing are..... players... well, of course that's a tough one, but at least you'll see DMs' point of view, less all the feedback they get.
