Letter sent to Councilor Tyrell and Matterheim [DM]

Dear Councilor,

I humbly ask of you, to discuss the election of a Mayor and the election of a new Council further. With the tragic loss of Mayor Bhast, morale has been low and the delay of an election put the citizens even further down. The election of a Mayor and a Council will raise their spirits, and keep their hopes up by showing that even with the tragedies which befells us, we still have the order and still will work for the betterment of Sanctuary. And that is something everyone should be reminded of.

- Andrik Krown The Last Stand Inn

A letter finally arrives from Matterheim's estate, delivered by one of Matterheim's nurses. The writing appears to have large loops and is written in a girly sort of cursive.

The Council has failed us, citizen. It has given in to the demands of a great, and terrible evil time and time again. No longer will I tolerate it, nor will I be a part of it. A new and glorious time is to come for those of us with good and fair hearts in this city. Those who would follow the Council and its new king the Shadow Wyrm and his awful kobold minions are welcome to wallow in the decadent, degenerate, debased, and debauched kobold ruled streets of Sanctuary.

-Baron Maxwell Von Matterheim.

A few days later a brief response arrives from Tyrell.

As you've no doubt heard, I've decided to retire from the field of politics. I wish you the best of luck in rebuilding Sanctuary, but my place is no longer on the Council.

-Adelia Tyrell.
