Patty Threadbare, Beacon

Patty,

Its Reev here. Just letting you know I'll buy the potion of Heal as well as your other healing artifact.

I would also ask for any information you have regarding Banites, especially those connected with the murder done in your dwelling as well as the ones connected with the arrogant proclamation involving sacrificial murder.

Regards,

Reev

Sir Reev,

The healing potion is bought, I regret to inform you. The crystal, however, is still available. I will reduce the price to 800 coin for you, as well.

In regards to your question about the Banites, the ones who attacked us were Vladimir Kostova, council hopeful, and Chadwick Danforth, fallen paladin of Tyr.

Vladimir's combat style relies first on a casting of Dispel after the enemy has prepared magics. Then, to summon a deep spider to poison the foe and fight in tandem. It bested me, and I hope that if you face him you will not make a similar mistake.

Patty,

He denies many of the things he's done and I am finding it troubling to prove it. Any information you can provide me which connects him with just one murder or ill deed will be enough for me to bring him down.

What is this business about him protecting the Beacon with 'the Might of Bane'? This sounds too unbelievable to be true. Please reply soon.

Regards,

Reev

Conveniently for the Banite, the witnesses to his attack with Chadwick were slain yesterday by a swarm of zombie svirfneblin. It seems that he speaks from both sides of his face; he is very convincing. I was almost moved to believe him myself, but his heart is plain to me.

I have admitted that the law is powerless here. Regretfully, I cannot in good conscience directly support any actions that would go against that law. Despite there being no written or formal law in Lower, I could still not bear witness to any man's murder, no matter how foul.

I will be here at the Beacon for a while if you need to contact me again.

-Patty

Would that I came across this information before the Banite struck again. Even so, he is dead now and his threat ended. I'll be keeping close tabs on that assitant of his, the one wearing the skin and bone of halflings. His next ill deed will be his last; I pray to Tempus he has the wisdom to acknowledge that his foul plans and deeds have no place in this city. Sanctuary must become strong again.

If you ever have troubles like this, seek me out Patty.

-Reev

Patty,

I hear you are attempting to enlist guardians for the Beacon. Know that you can call on my sword in its defense should it be needed.

-Reev

Sir Reev,

I am grateful for your letter. I will certainly add you to the formal list of the Beacon's defenders. You and your men of Tempus are always welcome at our Beacon.

Warm regards, ~Patty

Patty,

You can defintely sign up Roark and Kemorach as well. They will follow me into battle without question, and are good and honourable men as I'm sure you know.

Reev
