Hey. Im interested in NWN2 but not sure if I need a new graphics card or not.

My current card is a

GeForce 6150 CE Chipset

will I need to buy a new one? if yes I am looking at the Radeon2000. Will that be all I need to buy? My computer has 3 PCI expansion slots. Will I then need to buy a card that is PCI Express compatible?

Any help will mean a big thanks

My knowledge of Graphics cards is limited. However, it can't hurt having a new one if you can affored it im sure.

I honestly think you want to at least be at the end of the Geforce 6 series. I had a Geforce 6800 and wasn't overly thrilled about my play experience with NWN 2. Granted, you can just crank all the video settings down, but what the hell is the point then? :(

If you are interested in playing pretty much any new game you may want to step it up a bit.

If I recall, you need a graphics card that can handle 2.0 shader graphics or whatever. I think the 6600 GT is the first Geforce card that is capable of doing so. You might want to look into that!

But yeah, most new games are using 2.0 shader or better, I think.
