It's finally happened - Ruby died whilst trying to escape to the surface.

Ruby was the first character I made on the server - designed to be a 'test' so I could see what the server was like. But she became a lot more than that! Joined the Seekers and even owned a ship for a while.

So, I have some screenies of the final hours, sadly all the ones I had before that got lost. Enjoy!

I loved this character. My rogue Tarnis had a thing for her that he never mentioned ever because he was still getting over another woman.

Tarnis was also the guy who found Ruby's ruby sword. We found it in a barrel in the Chosen Arena during one of Tarnis' many suicidal trips to the Armory.

OOCly I was totally shocked when I found it and wasn't sure if it was supposed to go to her or not, but I gave it to her right away instead of waiting till the usual divvy of items after the journey.

I also remember when we tried to steal a ship for the first time after a slave auction between the drow and fort mur. Very exciting as it was the first time we fought the fishmen Kau Tao. Tarnis didn't hear Ruby say that the ship was sabotaged and was sinking, so she ran back in to help Tarnis save a wounded slave that he stayed behind to help. Nearly got all of us killed! Lots of fun!

I am glad I got to contribute to the character and enjoyed her antics....even when she did lead us to the sand caverns and half our party got insta-killed by some bodaks. :-)

Ruby Rocked seriously that fish quest Gave my evil traitorouse dwarf Desil the right to brag about something! That was a great concept Ruby! Make something evil Now!

Ruby was a great Character and became a huge part in Kyle's life after Sindel died he even fell in love with her both of them had such messed up backgrounds. I will miss her she was a lot of fun to RP beside and made things always interesting.

At least you didn't publish the letter he gave her...

I didn't even scratch the surface of what I really wanted Ruby to be. But it turned out ten times better than i ever imagined.

Neither really!

'Ruby' was a name given to her when she was like ten because she didn't have a birth name and the first thing she stole was a ruby off a mean old lady.

And Cannonball was nickname given to her during her pirate days just because she was mental.

The character herself just adopted them as her own name because of convinience.

A really good character and got a good ending by the look of it. It's rare that you get worthy closure on a fine character! :)

I am pretty much satisfied when an evil charctor dies for an evil ending. Now, when you make a charctor and get stoned 4 hours later,,,thats hilarious.

By being a great character (although i think kyle may have been responsible for the gem encrusted sheild exactly how many gems did he give her?) and having everyone want to rp with her.
