If lots of items (200+) are dropped in single area, does it create lag for whole server, or only for those in that area the items are dropped in?
How much this would affect on propability of server crashing?
(confirmed info > educated quesses, though both welcome)

My guess is that it wouldn't be good.

The more 'items' in the module, the more lag. It is highly discouraged to drop items on the ground and leave them behind, since it does cause lag. Rubbish-bins and waste-piles are created to drop all of this in. However, if for some reason, you do find yourself forced to drop items on the ground, make sure you all drop it on the same spot, and not in several, different spots, for the latter obviously generates more lag.

I could of sworn it was, but I could be wrong. The most lag you can get is when you are crafting with the crafter menu open.

Merely relaying the specifics a DM told me a while ago.
