Letter to Haren De'votel

Mister De'votel,

Like you, I stand for council elections. The council tells us these will occur in the next week.

I find myself doubtful. If elections do not occur in the next week, some action must be taken and as a former member of the Watch you stand in a firm position to influence those who must act. Deeply consider whether a citizen's loyalty is to his government or to the spirit of its laws.

Furthermore, like you I am concerned that this current council is passing measures beyond merely doing what is necessary to bring about elections quickly but is looking to raise one of its own members to the mayorality.

Should we both gain election, I hope you will support a measure to over turn any act of the current council that occured after the elections should have begun, should that act be found suspicious or immoral after a review.
