Since animated undeadhave had their DR removed I think its only fair even if they are only intended as a temporary undead summons that they recieve some boost in hp or ac. I don't think this takes much to change but I'm not sure. I just know that the animate dead system is low priorty and this could make the spell somewhat useful until the spell has been scripted correctly.
