The truth behind the council. In the upcoming days every citizen of Sanctuary suddenly becomes important and remembered. Several men will approach you promising changes, a better and safer city, that your choice, your vote truly matter, all the same bullshit you always heard.
They will promise changes that they don’t even know how to do it, changes they don’t even know if it’s possible, changes that they won’t do it because they don’t want to.
Ask yourself when the council ever decided anything truly good to this town. Was there ever a moment when you said “No, but this council really helped us, it made life down here easier to accept.”
Take for example our last candidates, who so “wisely “started a war in Lower knowing they couldn’t win.
Of course it is easy to start a war if you are not going to fight; it’s easy to accept a battle when you take no risks, no danger, no lost, when it’s not your son who will die.
The council’s last action killed far too many people in Lower, and instead of finding a way to easy their pain, ask forgiveness or at least create any sort of funding to support the ones who lost all, they decide to split the town in half.
Which leads me to ask, was that a coincident or some cunning plan to start a war, weakening the people from Lower so they cannot cause any problem for those who live in Upper, when the council decides to split the city?
But despite what anyone else might say to you, your vote does matter. Without it they cannot hide behind their ranks and decide who should die next, who should be sold as a slave, and how many should die so they can keep their wealth and safety.
If you are fool enough to believe the council one more time, please vote, it is your choice to keep being nothing but a pawn. But if you, like me, knows far too well the council is not the best for this city, then vote NO, NO more council, NO more lies. And perhaps, only perhaps the city might stop for a moment to hear what you have to say.
