Due to the murder of Mayor Bhast last week, the election will be delayed by two weeks. This is to hire election officials that former Mayor Bhast had for unknown reasons left undone and to appoint a new mayor.

The delay was done according to the law by council vote, and thus extending current council's work for the two weeks. While unfortunate, it is required to ensure fair and lawful elections.
