Calavera is now Perma-Dead. He died trying to retrieve his cherished staff.
Recently Cal had de-leveled to 4 and the only reason i started playing him again was to try and bring the plot to a logical end. Without the staff, he was no longer the *spoiler* and I saw not much reason to play him anymore. I needed to grow RP-wise and maybe, just maybe, he was holding me back.
Its been a long run. Looking back , our forums section was started on Feb. 1. In addition to that our faction, The Wards of Aeon was started at least a month before that, probably more. During that time quite a few druids have come and gone.
I had alot of fun with this, and it was an uphill battle the whole way. I like a challenge, but from the beginning the cards were stacked against us. For whatever reason, few people play druids on this server. And perhaps half of them are evil (lets face it, the Underdark is swarming with evil). Those who did fit the mold died often, as druids seem to be always poking their noses where folks don't like it :twisted:
I consider this a liberating and refreshing experience and let it be noted that i could have walked away and lived, I chose to die.
