The elected councilor Bhast has declared, through the Mayoral powers that he has assumed, that Lower Sanctuary is no longer a part of Sanctuary. But the responsibility of Sanctuary is to all people who wish safety from the horrors of the Underdark.

Let it be known that the Beacon will never abandon any person who requires safety, a warm meal, and clothes on their back. Let it be known that we continue to open our doors to all those who need help.

Be aware, however, that this declaration by councilor Bhast may have negative effects on the crime rate and stability of Lower Sanctuary. As such, the Beacon requests that all residents of Lower continue to keep a watchful eye for criminal activity, and inform the other people in your community. It is up to use to keep this place safe.
