With my new laptop, I'll be buying NWN2 finally.

BUT, my point is that less than 10 months later (sept 11th of this year) they're releasing the expansion pack for it already.

Thought that was kinda quick and here's hoping that they add back the Shifter class also, seeing as from what I've heard, they just plain FORGOT to put that class in.

With the warlock class in there and its unique invocation casting style, the framework is laid for the shadow caster (similar casting style, different name). Start your forum whinings at once!

if you already have nwn2 then you can make some good guesstimates of which classes they -might- be including in/planning for the expansion by looking in the dialog.tlk

So far my bets are on:

Arcane Scholar of Candlekeep Red Wizard Spirit Shaman there's -one- mention of Duskblade in the .tlk too

plus the abandoned prestige classes from the original release might be finished off: Contemplative, Sacred Fist and Mystic Theurge

I also suspect they'll be adding the elemental genasi, wild elves and half-drow for races.

I seriously think that there are too many classes really to contend with. The newbie player to NWN will think that it's cool, but in the end it's just plain overwhelming.
