Dear Sir.

Yesterday I was forced to destroy some manner of ghost or shade that had suddenly appeared on the third floor of the inn in the main corridor of the sleeping quarters.

Some of the guests complained about considerable “ruckus“ prior to the ghost making its appearance. I would suggest you post a temporary guard upstairs incase this turns out to be more than a one-time event. I will of course continue to keep an eye on the inn myself.
