Society of the Ordered Mind

With a distinctly feminine style of hand-writing

Greetings,

Although I have stopped by your Chapterhouse many times recently, I have been unable to find an ordinant with the time to meet with me regarding my aspirations to join your organization. As such, I now take my request formally to letter.

My name is Corynthia Mezzumberzuul. I grew up in the sunlit surface lands, serving as servant to my foster-father and guardian the Wizard Draklus Mezzumberzuul. He taught me little of his magic, but I have nevertheless always felt a connection to the Lady Mystra. When I grew older, I realized that I was called to descend into the darkness, to fight the evil and corruption that threatens Mystra's weave. Although I still struggle to understand what it is my Lady desires of me, I feel drawn to your organization and believe I may be of help.

I am hard-working, skilled, and will be dedicated to your cause and crusade.

Sincerely,

Corynthia Mezzumberzuul

Miss Mezzumberzuul,

Accept my sincerest apologies for not having made myself available, I have quite simply been too caught up with other matters as of late, but that should change soon.

I have registered you as a potential initiate and, as you have probably guessed, the next step is evaluation. If you are already now able to back up your application me with recommendations from Sanctuary officials I suggest you leave them at the Chapterhouse. Meanwhile, I urge you to keep an eye open for me so we can speak -- I am usually in the more populated areas when I'm not patrolling.
